My make-up essentials

As I have pale skin, it has always been a hassle to find products that look healthy natural on my skin especially in terms of bronzer and blush. The products that I tried mostly created an orange reddish look. Therefore, I used a product for once and replaced them after the first round. However, I have been happily using these products approximately for a year and cannot give up on them for another product (:. I am in favour of a healthy but a natural look for daily life.

The Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze and Glow – As far as I know, Charlotte Tilbury products have not come onto the market yet in Turkey. I met with this gal one year ago when I was in search of a decent product, and I am obsessed with her products since then. She is great with makeup products. Filmstar Bronze and Glow has both bronzer and highlighter which is a perfect combination for contouring. Bronzer creates a natural look (means not reddish/orange, not shiny). This bronzer is my essential product of my daily makeup routine! I only apply this product to my cheekbones, jaw and forehead lines. I don’t like to apply bronzer to the whole face like a mask. I prefer to use a highlighter at night events. Using a highlighter may look good in photos during the daylight. However, I feel like it creates a fake look. Nevertheless, I love to embed highlighters for a night look.

The Chanel Joues Contraste Blush 82 Reflex – This blush is easily blendable with Filmstar Bronze and Glow. In order to achieve a summer glow look, this peach colour blush is a marvellous choice. I have been using this blush before Filmstar Bronze and Glow. And I figured out they are the perfect combination for a cheeky summer look.

Clinique Line Smoothing Concealer – I am using 02 Light shade for my pale skin. It has variety of shade choice. It does do a good job covering dark circles and illuminating the eye area. It has high density so little amount of it do the job which leads long lasting usage. And one of the good points of this product is its fair price for a high end product. I also used quite expensive one compare to this one (Yves Saint Laurent Concealar). However, I did not satisfy with it.

Illamasqua Skin Base Foundation SB 07– I hate the chalky appearance that a foundation might create. I am using the foundation in order to maintain a stable colour on my skin.  So for me a foundation should be light and undetectable on the skin and blendable easily. This one is all package. It does create flawless natural appearance and lasts all day.

Lancome Grandiose- A very kind guy at the Lancome stand hooked me up with this mascara. Thanks, mister! Its brush provides an easy application. And most importantly it has liquid structure, I can easily remove a smudging on the eyelid or under eye even with my finger.

Chanel Rouge Allure Pimpante 90 and YSL Rouge Pur Couture Vernis a Levres Glossy Satin 19– I am in love with the coral / peach colored lipsticks. When I would like to have a gloss shine and soft natural lips, I am in favour of YSL. I don’t like gloss lipsticks due to its sticky look; however YSL one has a different texture. I wear this one almost everyday. Chanel Rouge Allure leaves a satin finish and glide over the lips smoothly. So much love to this product, highly recommended.

What do you think about these products? Any recommendation would be much appreciated ☺ ♥
